Excellent Book!

If you get one or two really good ideas out of a book, then it was worth reading. What do you say about a book from which you get dozens of good ideas? That is John Shosky's book. He begins with a truth that many speakers forget: speeches are about the audience. Shosky provides concrete ways for how to write memorable speeches, how to practice speaking, what to research for a speech, and so forth. He also provides text from some of the greatest speeches in history, examining what made them great, and how you can incorporate these techniques into your own speeches. I've read a number of books on the topic, and this one is by far the best.
